\nLong gone are the days when DJs had to clean the club\u2019s toilets before starting their set and then play on their own \u2019til the cows come home \u2013 FACT!
\nNowadays, you\u2019d be forgiven to think that these guys have all the luck in the world.
\nUnless you\u2019re extremely clumsy, mixing basics can be learned quickly. Being aware than dance music didn\u2019t begin and end with Britney, Bieber or Gaga also proves an advantage.
\nJoking aside, you\u2019ll need oodles\u00a0of taste and discernment to get your hands on enticing floor-friendly tunes and, most importantly, develop your own original style. Gob-smacking looks\u00a0and a high-octane\u00a0personality naturally help but aren\u2019t necessary. Mixing with the right people, on the other hand, always comes in handy to secure a good agent and play gigs in the right places. Having done all that, you may find yourself on the threshold of an illustrious and very lucrative career, especially if you’re ace at producing and remixing.
